This pre-meeting workshop will help participants better understand and implement the use of hand-held ultrasound for a safer Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery as well as other important uses for patient safety in cosmetic surgery.

Modern hand-held ultrasound is fast becoming an indispensable part of the cosmetic surgeon’s toolkit when it comes to patient safety. Updated regulations in Florida now require ultrasound-guided visualization when performing the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure, and it is likely that more states and further procedure types will follow.
Through lecture and hands-on practice, attendees will develop a thorough understanding of the value of ultrasound as a modality and improve their competence in use of hand-held ultrasound for Brazilian Butt Lift.
Attendees will ‘Learn from the Experts’ and undertake gluteal ultrasound and learn anatomic visualization on live models, as well as practice localization under ultrasound guidance using simulation modalities. All participants qualify for 4 hours of CME and will receive a special certificate for participating in BBL Safety.

Please note: This workshop does not offer injection under ultrasound guidance on live models. Attendees will practice injection under ultrasound guidance using hands-on simulation modalities.
