In 2024, the AACS will be marking the occasion of its 40th Annual Scientific Meeting, the 40-year anniversary of the formation of the Academy and the Journal. This provides us the opportunity to reflect on the long and unparalleled history of the AACS, and a celebration of the principles with which it was founded.
